Medicare
You can receive all of your health care from a Washington University Physician if your primary insurance is Medicare, since our physicians accept Medicare assignment. Most supplemental plans will allow you to receive all of your care from a Washington University Physician. Please note, if you receive Medicare coverage through an HMO, you will need to check to make certain that Washington University Physicians participates in your plan and that you follow all the requirements for referrals.
Missouri or Illinois State Medicaid
You can receive all of your health care from one of our Washington University Physicians if you are covered by Missouri or Illinois State Medicaid. Patients covered by Medicaid from other states may also be covered in some circumstances. Please check with your state plan and verify that the Washington University physicians selected is a plan participant.
