Tonya Russell is professor of medicine and is a diplomate in sleep medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. She completed her internal medicine residency and her pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine. Russell joined the faculty of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Washington University in 2004. She has been seeing patients at the sleep center since 2004, also.
Russell’s clinical interests include obstructive sleep apnea, obesity hypoventilation and hypoventilation due to lung and neuromuscular disease.
